PART 2: What the...?

One of the thing that annoys me is when someone else do not squeeze the toothpaste properly. I'm sorry to say but my wife does that.

Every morning when I see the toothpaste, it looks like it was punched in the face, right in the middle of the tube. You must think I must be very free to show you all these pictures. But you see, I'm trying to make a point here.

But fear not, there is hope & salvation for the physically abused.

Behold! The toothpaste guard! And only for RM2.00!

Before this starts sounding like an advert, which it is not, my Dad was the one who saw this & bought it for me. I think he got it at some One-Stop Discount Store somewhere.

It's very simple to use - just slip it on like your shorts & you're ready to go.

Now, I'm hoping that she won't squeeze the front of the guard piece.

What The...?

Your guess is as good as mine when I first laid eyes on this strange looking contraption that could only have come from Japan, the land of wierd inventions.

Take a looooooooong hard look & guess what they are.

Ah Beng Buys Crocs

I bought a pair of Crocs on Friday.

I know this rubber product has been around for quite some time but it took me a while to register into my head that rubber shoes do not necessarily equate to the Made-in-China yellow rubber boots that you wear when there's a flood in Kuching.

Show one to my grandma & she'll call them kao kong ay (rain boots).

Apparently, this model is called the Viking for some reasons which I could not comprehend. I paid RM169 for this piece of road rubber.

It didn't sound like a lot of money, until I found out that it was made in China.

But heck, it looks good & feels good. And, If you're not really looking down south, you won't even notice that I was wearing a rubber sandal to work.

The great thing about Crocs is that you have the option to buy these add ons.

It's a bit like buying mobile phones, you know.

When you get one, you can download all the different funky ringtones.

But I think for now, I will stay off Eve, Wall-E, Batman & especially the daisy, pink poodle & pink butterfly. Pink things have the tendency to misrepresent the macho man-ness.
